TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

Technology is an important part of education because it has many tools that teachers can use in the classroom in order to enhance the education; as a result, students can learn in a better way that in the past. For example, many decades ago, the teachers did not have a lot of resources like projectors, computers, tablet and many others resources; they only had the chalkboard and the student’s notebook; however, the teacher could make flashcards by drawing.

Nowadays, the teachers can use many tool in order to make their life easier, for instance the computer is very useful tool for teacher because they can make power point presentations, make handouts, and save many information; moreover, the computer can be more useful when teachers use it together with an important resource, and it is internet. When the teachers understand hoe the technology works, they start to innovate their methodology. For instance, some teachers teach through skype (an interactive application); on the other hand, using skype, teachers can teach online; moreover, there is another device that works as a computer, and it is called “tablet”.

To sum up, the technology in education is not bad as many old people think because they see the new generations spend their times playing video games or checking their social networks, but there is a real fact, and it  is that technology does not replace humans, it makes human’s life easier than in the past.
