MY FIRST SECOND-PERIOD BLOG ENTRY

Nowadays, teachers must be dynamic and creative, and there are some tools that made their job easier tan in the past. Now, technology is an important part in people life. In other words, teachers should incorporate technology in their life because this generation of kids is growing up together with technology; for example, today, most children can use a tablets, computers, and smart phones better than some adults; it means that teachers have the duty to use technology in classes.

HOW CAN I USE THESE RESOURSES IN OUR CLASSES?

Story jumper and story bird are both useful resources most for children or for ESL beginner students because these tools create or make attractive stories as tales and short stories. Moreover, story jumper and story bird work base on pictures due to make the stories more interesting. To catch the attention of the students is very important in learning process, and most people know that the best way to catch children’s attention is by their eyes; in addition, with these tools, teachers can encourage their students to read; both tools are easy to use, but there is one difference between story jumper and story bird, and it is that story jumper allow teacher to upload their own pictures, and story bird has a set of pictures about some topics; in other words, in story bird, teachers cannot use their own pictures.

WHY IS WRITING IMPORTANT?

Writing is part of the personality of a person; moreover, writing is another way to express the language. For ESL students, writing is a good way to practice their vocabulary, grammar and composition skills; moreover, many people judge others by the way that they write; therefore, to develop a good writing skills help student  to communicate with other; in addition, writing is a very formal or polite way to communicate with other even it is more polite than speaking.
